The Police Command in Enugu State has arrested a 75-year-old man, one Boniface Onoja, for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl within the premises of Community Secondary School, Ogbunite.

Onoja, a security guard at the school, allegedly lured the victim who was sent on an errand by her grandmother, to one of the staff rooms and raped her.

He ran out of luck as he was caught by a passerby whom he attempted to bribe to conceal his evil act. Meanwhile, the suspect who confessed to the crime blamed it on the devil and pleaded for mercy.
