2019 hajj: Kwara set to capture intending pilgrims’ data
The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board yesterday said an arrangement had been perfected for the conduct of biometric data capturing for all the 2,200 intending pilgrims for 2019.
The Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Mohamned Tunde Jimoh, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in llorin.
He said the data capturing exercise would begin with 1, 127 intending pilgrims who had obtained application forms and paid deposit.
He urged intending pilgrims to obtain their application forms at the board’s office in llorin between before the end of the month.
The board directed all intending pilgrims that obtained application forms to deposit between N1 million and N1.3 million before the remaining 1,173 allocated seats to the state were exhausted.
