Black Soldier Fly Larvae as an animal feed

Has anyone considered breeding Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) as an animal feed supplement?
Its benefits are becoming increasingly regarded as an efficient processor of manure and food-waste. The larvae are a nutritious supplement for animal feeds including poultry feed:

The US has started commercial production as well as Switzerland where they are used to process waste.
We are thinking that Nigerian production of these larvae would be a lucrative industry and means for reducing cost of feed locally. Are there any bye-laws or restrictions on such an enterprise?
