'We are a finished club' - Arsenal fanffs rage as Everton ready £55m Wilfried Zaha bid
Wilfried Zaha is wanted by Everton, who are reportedly set to rival Arsenal for the Crystal Palace winger's signature
It has certainly been a testing period for Arsenal fans in the transfer market as, despite plenty of expectations and links, it has been a relatively quiet summer in North London.
The Gunners have so far only added 18-year-old Brazilian starlet Gabriel Martinelli to their squad ahead of Unai Emery's second season in charge, although deals for Saint Etienne defender William Saliba and Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos are imminent.
One of the biggest targets for Arsenal this summer though has been Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, a boyhood fan of the club that has made it clear he wants to conclude a transfer.
However, Palace are standing firm on their £80m demand for the Ivory Coast international and Arsenal are yet to match the asking price of their fellow London side.
While there is still time for a deal to be concluded, some concerning news has emerged on the market as it has been stated that Everton have joined the hunt for the former Manchester United man.
Naturally, that has led to concerns from Arsenal supporters as they fear they could miss out on the services of the Ivorian and are stunned that they seemingly do not have the financial firepower to compete with Everton in the transfer market.
