An angry mob have reportedly lynched two teenage armed robbers for robbing a supermarket.

According to Reports, that the two boys tried to rob a Supermarket named Sunnytex at around 9.00 pm on Monday night but unfortunately failed and were arrested by the people.

Touching on the incident, an eyewitness said,“When we noticed that the boys were robbing, we decided to lay siege and accost them, we were not afraid because we discovered they had a locally-made gun.

“Immediately they came out from the supermarket the mob went after them, and raised the alarm, funny enough, one of them too joined the mob in shouting “thief ooo” not knowing that he has been marked already.

“Two ran through a nearby street while the one who joined us in raising alarm wanted to escape via Rabana roundabout, he was apprehended and lynched.

“While the other was also lynched and set ablaze,

“The third person is still at large as some people have already gone after him and I believe he will be apprehended too because everyone around at alert as we speak.”

In other news, 8 people have reportedly been burnt to death in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

According to reports, the accident involving a Mazda bus marked AAA 249 VX occurred on near Saapade bridge.

The accident was as a result of a burst tyre that caused the bus to somersault and burst into flames.

11 people were involved in the accident;They are three male adults, one female adult, one child and six unidentified persons.

8 died while 3 were injured and rushed to Idera Hospital, Sagamu, for medical attention.

There has been a lot of records of accidents over the weekend.

A Ford Driver and mate have also died after a Tipper Truck crushed their vehicle at Big Apple, a suburb of Gomoa Budumburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

Reports say, the Ford Transit vehicle was branching at a junction when the speeding Tipper Truck ran into the vehicle which had only the driver and mates on board.

The mate died instantly while the driver was also pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital after collapsing.

The bodies have since been deposited at the St Gregory Catholic Hospital morgue in Gomoa Budumburam.
